Meet Vito Jamieson, Voice Over Artist and More

Vito Jamieson is a voice over artist, internet marketer, and copywriter who has worked on campaigns for Google, Seagrams, and many other businesses around the world.

Learn more about him by visiting VoiceOversPlusMore.com.

1. What drew you to the field of voice over work?

When I was about 13, my voice dropped overnight. Suddenly girls were paying attention and I liked it. Whenever there was a school project that required a voice, then I was "voluntold" to put my voice on the projects.

Over time the same thing started happening at work. At one point, my boss wanted me to put my voice on an animated project but wanted me to keep up with my regular work. I let her know that I couldn't do both and named a price to do it on my own time, and my first paid gig was in the pocket.

2. Do you find that a lot of your voice over clients also benefit from your copywriting services?

Copywriting is a natural extension of my voice work. So many times, people sent me work with errors, so I began to charge them to correct the work. People also started asking me my opinion, and at times the material was so bad I would tell people I could not put my voice to bad material in order to maintain my reputation.

My voice is a tool for sales and moving people to action. Copywriting does the same thing and it can be just as fun.

3. What types of projects do you find yourself doing most often--and what are some of your favorite things to work on?

It's really a mixed bag. I find myself doing a lot of narration, radio commercials, and station identification. I would say the most common are when people want a deep voice and a tone like Dennis Haysbert or Morgan Freeman. Quite often I get people who want me to imitate James Earl Jones' "This is CNN." That's always fun.

I think my favorite thing is when parents ask me to call their kids as Santa Claus. Kids get a kick out of it, and parents are thrilled when their kids behave themselves!

4. Why do small businesses need to hire voice over professionals instead of just doing their own narration for videos for social media (etc)?

When people do things in a less than professional way, it is a disservice to their business. Yes, people may be passionate about their business, but a lot of times they are going to come across as too cheap to use a professional or worse, cheesy.

If you own a store front shop, would you create a hand painted sign for your business and expect people to take you seriously? I hope not. A hand painted sign for a lemonade stand is cute but not elsewhere. Using a professional voice is like using a professional sign that says, take a look at me, and look at me for the right reasons.

5. What else would you like readers to know about you and your work?

Well, I'd be remiss if I did not say go to VoiceOversPlusMore.com and listen to samples of my voice and to connect with me. I love doing creative projects and would be happy to discuss whatever your project ideas may be.

Thanks, Vito!

Meet Christian Okoye, Founder of Adhang.com

Christian Okoye is a professional webmaster and internet marketing consultant from Nigeria. He has helped many individuals and companies across Nigeria secure an active and functional online presence. He operates a lot of websites across Nigeria and the continent of Africa. He is the founder of Adhang.com, Nigeria's leading online advertising agency. Adhang.com uses major online platforms around the world--such as Google, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Cokoye, Microsoft Adcenter, and Facebook--to run and manage internet advertising campaigns.

If you want to learn more about Adhang.com, click here for an overview of the company and their services.

1. How and why did Adhang.com first get started?

Adhang.com started in Nigeria by assembling a group of talented online professionals both local and international to render online promotion services to Nigerian companies, individuals, and people who work with the government. This was an idea I had been nursing for years but felt that Nigerian market wasn't ripe for Adhang.com and might want free ads instead, because most Nigerian companies and individuals started participating in internet activities by getting and expecting virtually everything online for free. This very belief was fueled by Yahoo free email accounts and search, Google search and free email accounts, and many internet marketers who advertise free downloads of all kind of things. But these days, Nigerian consumers/users are wiser and understand now the limitation of wanting to get everything free--they see the need for working with a professional online marketing agency like Adhang.com to handle their internet promotion.

Why Adhang.com started is to help and manage internet advertising for manufacturers and business owners who want to attract buyers for their products and services, Nigerian politicians or political parties who want to attract electorates via online promotion, Nigeria's government to reach masses on any issue important to the government of the day, event organizers to attract participants, etc. Adhang.com does this by undertaking virtually all promotional elements online such as personal selling, direct marketing, publicity, advertising, and more.

2. What are some specific areas of knowledge that your company can offer regarding reaching consumers in Nigeria?

Adhang.com has talented professionals that specialize in virtual marketing communication tools needed for reaching consumers in Nigeria. For example, in the area of "personal selling," our script writers write scripts, and we employ spokespeople to talk to the target audience. In the area of "direct marketing," our copy writers write persuasive articles and content directed to the right consumers. In the area of "publicity," our writers write press releases and publish them on online media sites. And in the area of "advertising," our ad gurus and banner arts designers design online banners that will appear to consumers. Adhang.com has extensive knowledge in using major online media platforms such as Google, Yahoo, Cokoye, Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft Adcenter, YouTube, article directories, online slide presentations, and so on.

3. Do you think that international businesses need to pay more attention to the Nigerian market?

Yes, I think international businesses need to pay more attention to Nigeria's market because Nigeria has the biggest economy in the continent of Africa, and Nigeria has the highest population in the continent. These facts alone are huge enough for businesses to pay attention to the Nigerian market.

4. Why is internet advertising so important to businesses today, and how can a business owner choose which form(s) of advertising would be best for them?

Internet advertising is extremely important in the business world today because virtually everything we know and do today is moving to the internet such as reading, entertainment, research, social networking, communication, conference meetings, etc. Also, the internet has all levels of users that can be identified by age, sex, educational level, financial resources, time spent online and on which platform, location, etc. This means that no matter the kind of consumer or audience a business needs to target, the audience members are already on internet.

What Nigerian business owners need to do is tell Adhang.com what their advertising objectives are, and then Adhang.com employs its expertise in online advertising to achieve the objectives by incorporating online media platforms around the world: this is our job and what we do on a daily basis on the internet.

5. When it comes to effectively reaching the Nigerian audience, do you have some tips for potential advertisers?

When it comes to effectively reaching the Nigerian audience, the method that is certain is paid online marketing. I will try comparing some methods a bit below:

  • Yahoo, Bing, and Google organic searches are free, but unless the whole world is talking about you currently, it might take months or years for your message to be in these search engines' first pages, and depending on the nature of the message, it might never show at all. When you pay for display advertising, you start seeing your ads immediately by the sides, on top, and on the bottom of all these search engines guaranteed.

  • With Cokoye.com you can add advertising messages in your signature for free, but you need to be very active in Cokoye.com by participating in the discussions in the forum for your signature to be seen and promoted. When you pay for Cokoye banner ads, your banner starts displaying all over the Cokoye.com website immediately to hundreds of thousands of users and visitors without any other work on your part. Not only is the paid banner effective, but this simply allows you to use your time for something else.

  • You can have social networking accounts and fan pages on places such as Facebook, Cokoyes, LinkedIn, etc, but nobody will know they exist unless you tell them, promote your pages, and remain active on your pages--and at the same time, with all these efforts, you might still achieve little or nothing. But when you pay for sponsored ads, your ads/messages will be displaying to millions of these social network users' walls. This again is not only effective, but it gives you time to focus on something else more important to you.

Is important to note here that unless you know what you're doing, paying money to internet advertising platforms directly and not employing a professional internet advertising agency does not guarantee it will be effective. This is where Adhang.com comes in. The good news is that on our website, we have plans which enable Nigerian advertisers (companies, individuals, and government) to advertise on the platforms mentioned above and major online advertising media around the world at once and under one contract. Advertisers need not to go to all these platforms one by one. Adhang.com takes care of them under one contract.

Thanks, Christian!

Why Are Web Directories So Important to the Internet?

The following is a guest post from the GreedyGrab social web directory.

Web directories play a very important role in the success of every website. These directories provide the online presence that business owners mostly need for their online business. A web directory, also known as a link directory, is focused on linking with other websites as well as on categorizing the links. If you are thinking that a web directory is a search engine, well, it's not. It is not capable of displaying web pages based on keywords, but it lists websites by category or subcategory.

When you use web directories, especially in your marketing strategy, it will be easier for you to find your way toward success though the market is getting more competitive. As you all know, there really are lots of online business present, big and small businesses, which are competing for the attention of the customers. Web directories are very important since they will provide you with a greater chance of standing out from your competitors. The following are some of the reasons why web directories are important in business and within the internet as a whole:

Generate Traffic
An extra advertising technique comes with more traffic. Through web directories, you will be able to reach potential customers who will soon visit your website, thus helping in increasing the traffic on your website.

Advertising
If your online business did not work on the first attempt, web directories will be very helpful if you want to advertise your business together with your great offerings. Directories are considered the most efficient way for you to market your online business conveniently. Web directories are offering the most convenient access going to the large market. This will greatly help you in attracting more and more customers to visit your website. When you include web directories in your marketing plan, it will enable you to do everything out of your marketing strategy.

Reach Target Market
With the use of web directories, it will be easier for you to reach your target customer and market without the need to exert more sweat and effort. You will no longer be required to break a sweat just to reach the customers that you desire. Directories help in indexing websites through certain categories that can be found by your customers easily. Once they search for your services and products, they can find them easily, and they will not feel bored because of lots of irrelevant information provided.

Web directories are not only important in business but in the World Wide Web as a whole. Without web directories, do you think your business will be recognized, and do you think there will be websites that will be linked to each other? Although you have an online business and you are using different marketing techniques, sooner or later your website will no longer be visited unless you have included web directories in your marketing plan. This will allow you to gain more customers, traffic, and sales. Your online presence will surely direct you to the path of success--just make sure that it is within a web directory.

Meet Jerry Jones, Marketing Expert

Based in the Willamette Valley, Jerry Jones is an expert on professional practice marketing with nearly 20 years of experience. He spends most of his time developing marketing and advertising strategies for his limited number of private clients and ClearPath Society Members. He helps clients with writing, creating, designing, and tracking results for various new patient/client attraction and patient/client retention marketing campaigns.

1. As someone who is not a dentist, how did you first become interested in the business of dentistry?

After completing my undergraduate degree, I spent a couple of years in Washington, DC. I worked as a staffer for a US Senator and decided to return to the west coast, where I contemplated attending graduate school, but in the interim, got sidetracked by working for a dentist on his nationally-circulated newsletters. Since the focus of his newsletters was business in nature, it appealed to me--in particular, the marketing side--which is the driver of all business. A few short years later, I actually bought one of his companies. I quickly grew it and sold it a handful of years later, to a former employee. And, a few short years after that, the call was strong to return and I did. Today, after having re-launching my original business, we now work with hundreds of dentists and financial planners all over the world on helping them grow their practices through smart, reliable, direct response marketing.

2. What are some of the unique marketing challenges faced by dentists?

The average patients (and most dentists) have it in their minds that dentists are selling pain and the high cost of health care. So, it's often perceived as an uphill battle. It's two strikes before they even step up to the plate.

However, dentists are also selling beauty and cosmetic/smile enhancement and health solutions. Most dentists don't view themselves as solution providers to some of the most challenging cosmetic hurdles most of us have. Almost everyone wants an improved smile and most certainly a healthy mouth. To be successful in dentistry as a business, it takes a marketer to get the patients to raise their hand/create interest, an artist and skilled clinician, a salesman's skills to present the solutions, and, a business mind to connect the dots to ensure the process gets repeated. It's not complicated. However, most dentists are too narrowly focused on the technical and artisan approaches, leaving all other aspects of the business to chance. After all, only a small percentage of dentists have business degrees. They went to dental school, not business school. That's where my company comes in to play.

3. What inspired you to write your book, 24 Common Mistakes Doctors Make That Destroy Their Business(es) and Retirement?

As a businessman, I've made every one of them. They were easy to write about, and, my members and clients quickly understand them since so many have also. The book shares my struggles in business and helps build a collaborative bond and potential relationship with those who read it.

4. Would you tell us a little bit about your ClearPath Society and what it offers?

The ClearPath Society® is an association of like-minded, success-oriented individuals aligned to help each other create and maintain a high-profit, low-overhead, low-stress, lifestyle business.

Among numerous privileges, members receive unrestricted access to dentistry's most significant source of constantly evolving, trusted, and proven patient attraction and retention strategies--the lifeblood of business.

Members get access to exclusive turn key new patient attraction and retention solutions.

These include turn key fully-customized patient newsletters, postcards, free standing inserts, newspaper ads, Yellow Pages ads, monthly patient offers, and more.

I continue to create unique patient attraction strategies to include hundreds of new patient ads, office marketing strategies, and patient retention systems for ClearPath members. Members receive a license and royalty-free access to the enormous catalog of ads I have produced for members. The ads and systems are all fully-vetted, at SofTouch Dental™, prior to release for member use.

Members also participate in an annual gathering designed to emulate and improve upon Napoleon Hill's Mastermind concept. And I provide dentists with a decision "lifeline": an always-open resource available exclusively to members to receive feedback on ideas, thoughts, and dental business strategy.

More information is available at www.ClearPathSociety.com.

5. Do you see your goal as helping entrepreneurs become involved in dentistry or helping dentists become stronger entrepreneurs--or both?

No question, both. There's a strong need and place for both in dentistry. With having entrepreneurs more involved in this segment of the healthcare industry, it will grow quickly and reach more potential patients. Plus, the advancement of technology breakthroughs will no doubt occur far faster. There's a place for solo practicing dentists in dentistry and always will be. There's also a place for group practice, big box chain organizations, and, even franchise organizations. At Jerry Jones Direct and through my ClearPath Society®, we’re actually bringing to market a hugely successful dental office model that brings forth the best of both worlds. Your readers can learn more at www.WellnessSpringsDental.com.

Thanks, Jerry!

Promotional Merchandise: It's Easier Than You Might Think

Even the smallest of small businesses can promote their brand using promotional merchandise. There are a lot of companies online that let you buy promo items in limited quantities, so you can find creative ways to get the word out without breaking the bank. I enjoyed reading this article on brand recognition with promotional merchandise because the author lists several simple ways that you can use promotional merchandise to share your company name or other important message(s) with the world.

One of the techniques mentioned in the article is to work with a print-on-demand company like VistaPrint. I have had great experiences with VistaPrint myself. They have templates you can use, so you don't have to be a designer to create a nice-looking print piece. Or if you are a designer (or have hired one!), you can upload your own designs. Their finished products look good, and the delivery is pretty fast, too (I always select the "slowest" delivery option, and my package still arrives within a couple weeks).

I like to have postcards printed with my poems on them to give away when I do a reading, teach a class, etc. One time I even had a t-shirt printed with the name of my website on it. More than anything, I think people appreciate it when they see you've taken the time to create a unique gift for them. I see my postcards as tiny gift items. I think people remember you in a positive way when you've shared something with them.

A Short History of Magic Magnetic Signs

The following is a guest post, kindly provided by HFE Signs Ltd, a UK-based company specializing in banners, signs, and digital printing.

Whilst even the internet cannot put a precise date on the date of the invention of the first magnetic signs, there is a popular legend surrounding the discovery of magnets. Sometime around 4,000 years ago, a Cretan shepherd called Magnes was, perhaps unsurprisingly, herding his sheep in an area of what is now northern Greece when the nails in his shoes and the tip of his staff became firmly stuck to the large black rock on which he was standing. He dug up the earth around the rock and discovered a lodestone, which contained magnetite, a natural magnetic material.

Following on from a Greek shepherd, further investigation of magnets and magnetism was continued by the Greeks, by the Chinese (who developed the mariners compass) and Peter Peregrinus de Maricourt, a 13th century French scientist and scholar who wrote the first treatise describing the properties of magnets. However, significant progress was made only with the experiments of William Gilbert, an English physician, physicist and natural philosopher. In 1600, it was Gilbert who first realised that the Earth was a giant magnet and that magnets could be manufactured by beating wrought iron.

In 1820, Hans Christian Oersted, a Danish physicist and chemist, discovered that electric currents create magnetic fields. Eventually, it was James Clerk Maxwell, a Scottish mathematical physicist, who formulated a set of equations that describe electricity, magnetism and optics as manifestations of the same phenomenon, namely the electromagnetic field. Maxwell's achievements concerning electromagnetism have been called the "second great unification in physics," after the first one realised by Isaac Newton. What is more remarkable is that Maxwell developed his ideas in 1862, more than thirty years before the discovery of the electron in 1897, a particle that is so fundamental to the current understanding of both electricity and magnetism. It was but a short jump from there to fridge magnets.

Fridge magnets are most undoubtedly magnetic signs at their most abundant. Whilst it feels like these little, usually whimsical, ornaments have been with us forever (well, as least since just after the invention of the refrigerator), it is reported that the first fridge magnet patent was obtained only in the 1970s by a William Zimmerman of St. Louis, Missouri. The largest collection of fridge magnets, according to the Guinness World of Records, is owned by a Louise J. Greenfarb and, as of January 2009, numbered some 40,000 items. As magnetic signs go, fridge magnets are the smallest but, still, that number must require some significant storage space. However innocuous the object, there is always someone, somewhere, who collects them. Just ask the lady who collects banana labels (13,552 and counting!).

The main purpose of a sign is to communicate, to convey information, and can be roughly divided into the following functions: information, direction, identification, safety, and regulatory. Magnetic signs are particularly useful where signs are not intended to be permanent and where they might be put up and taken down at regular intervals. They will adhere to anything with a steel surface, such as shelving or filing cabinets, but they really come into their own on the sides of vehicles such as lorries and taxis.

Meet Jay Soriano, Entrepreneur

Jay Soriano is a serial entrepreneur and founder of SorianoMedia. He has consulted for various companies in Las Vegas including technology startups and small and medium sized businesses.

Jay Soriano's work has been featured by ABC, Startup America, Under30CEO and various technology publications.

1. What is the focus of your company, SorianoMedia?

I started SorianoMedia in frustration with other consulting companies in Las Vegas. I've watched too many local businesses get burned by bad web designers, unscrupulous SEO consultants, and exorbitant ad agencies that I thought I needed to start up a company that actually helps local businesses at a rate they can afford. I do this by staying small; I much prefer the relationship of a boutique marketing firm, rather than the firm with hundreds of clients in its portfolio, most of which are assigned to project managers.

2. Would you tell us a little bit about how you bring your own experience as an entrepreneur to your work with clients, especially in terms of providing them with an "investment" rather than a "cost"?

Great question! If you're a local business and you hire a web designer, that's a cost. Ongoing web development does little to increasing ROI, and if you're not A/B testing--you could be hurting your ROI. Conversely, I focus on helping clients generate a ROI through digital marketing and search engine optimization (SEO). Thus, money that they spend with me isn't a cost--it's an investment.

3. How long have you been living in Las Vegas, and what do you like about the area as a home/business base?

I actually just moved to Las Vegas about two years ago inspired by the growing entrepreneurial scene (#VegasTech). If you've never been here, or even if you have--Vegas is so much more that the Strip. It's not for everyone, but for some it's everything. Vegas is always growing, always evolving.

4. When it comes to indie businesspeople who want to expand their web presence, what are some things that people can do themselves, and what are some things that tend to require some additional help?

I turn down a lot of people who approach me for consulting, especially those on a budget. Instead I advise them of a lot of things they can do themselves, and when they reach a plateau, that's when they can talk to me. For example, I was recently approached by a realtor, who wanted to rank for the search term "realtor Las Vegas."

First off, you shouldn't care about rankings: you really want revenue. What she REALLY wants is more clients, and she thinks ranking for that term is synonymous with more clients. Well, that's an extremely competitive niche, especially in Las Vegas. And people searching for that term are more in a discovery phase, as opposed to people searching for "What are the safest neighborhoods in Las Vegas." The latter is known as a long tail phrase; it's a lot easier to rank for, and you're reaching people who are further along in the home buying process. From there, you can talk about a specific townhome community within one of the safest neighborhoods.

So the #1 thing indie businesspeople can do to expand their web presence is to create content that is useful to their market.

5. If you could give just three pieces of advice to someone who has always wanted to start a business but has never acted on their interests, what would you say?

1. Starting a business doesn't have to mean risking everything. Don't start the next Facebook; make your first $1 before trying to make $1 billion.

2. Connect with like-minded people, other entrepreneurs, others that have been successful in the niche you want to be in, etc. Cut out the people distracting you from your goals.

3. Utilize free advertising. Google ads, Twitter and Facebook ads all offer free advertising that startups can take advantage of. Use this to test the demand of your product or service.

Thanks, Jay!

An Introduction to Adsless.com

Adsless.com is free classified website that offers text, image, and video ads for free. The site features ads from all over the world, with ads sorted by topic rather than geographical area.

The current list of categories for Adsless are the following: Accessories, Apartments, Automotive, Communities, Donation, Entertainment, Jobs, Personal, and Travels.

When you click on the homepage, you see ads from a variety of categories. The dates for these ads are from different dates; it looks like a sampling of ads from the database.

You can also see the most recent ads drawn from all categories under the heading of "Most Recent Ads" on the upper right corner of the homepage.

In addition to text, ads can include images as well as videos. This looks like an interesting new site for people to try to find new traffic for their online businesses, items for sale, and other projects.

Meet Adam Green of Macirculaire.com

Adam Green loves saving money and goes hunting for bargains every week on websites such like Macirculaire.com. As a citizen of Canada, he feels an obligation to save the planet as Canada is the number one resource for water in the world. That's the main reason why he created www.macirculaire.com to help avoid unnecessary paper use.

The content on Macirculaire is available in French and in English.

1. When did you start Macirculaire, and how did you choose the name for the site?

Macirculaire was launched back in November 2011, so we'll soon have occasion to celebrate our second birthday with some new features which will be revealed by end of October. The name is pretty simple as "circulaire" means in French--especially in Quebec, Canada--the flyer every store releases on weekly basis in order to let their customers be aware of the latest discounts and offers. "Ma" is for "My," so the website could be named in English "Myflyer," but as far as our target is speaking more French in Quebec, we preferred to name it "Macirculaire.com."

2. What will visitors find at Macirculaire?

Visitors typically are looking for discounts and offers from their preferred stores for shopping offline. They can find the addresses of stores in their neighborhood and the store flyers online, while browsing all flyers and stores available on Macirculaire.

3. What are some suggestions you have for people to reduce their use of paper?

Fortunately we have an organization here in Quebec, REQ, which is doing a great job that way by sensitizing the citizens to the big loss of paper and difficulty/cost to recycle it. For instance they offer a sticker that you can pick up at their locations or print online in order to unsubscribe from all this lot of useless circulars printed and other unsolicited advertising. The latest stats show that more than 30% of citizens do browse their flyers only online, but this is not sufficient. We encourage people to use websites online and even keep their preferred flyers on mobile phones or devices while shopping.

4. Do you have plans to expand Macirculaire to reach other areas beyond the Quebec area?

Right now there's lot of work that needs to be done right here in Quebec, as illustrated in an article in a local news highlighting the flyers problem in Montreal. Ideally Macirculaire should address the same problem met in France where also people browse flyers whether they are called catalogs or brochures. To be concrete there's no plan in the near future to expand the offer to other countries. We'll continue rather to adapt our offerings and user experience to Quebec citizens.

5. What response have you received so far about your site from consumers and from businesses?

As you know, with actual website usage tracking we can have all these responses directly on our analytics dashboard. Actually, we have the bounce rate decreasing significantly as people have more confidence in the website. In the mean time, we have noticed more subscribers to our newsletter and more people who create accounts in order to keep track of specific flyers they're interested in. On the other hand, we can also monitor users sentiment over social media, and we're proud to see that it's more than positive.

Thanks, Adam!

An Introduction to Onedollarcountry.com: Advertise and Earn

Who wouldn't like to earn money online? There's a persistent myth of people starting websites and magically gaining traffic to make enough money for an early retirement. The truth is that to build an empire, you must find creative ways to get backlinks to your website. Backlinking is like a vote: each incoming link to your website reflects that you're a credible source.

Onedollarcountry was pioneered by Paolo Andina and Joel Stutz, who wanted to create an innovative method for link building and online advertising. Many have already adopted their best practices and have noticed a surge in traffic and revenue from ad spaces. With Paolo and Joe's creation, people have a new opportunity earn money from ads and get real visitors to their sites.

Unlike cookie cutter advertising portals that promise payloads of traffic, onedollarcountry has a reach to targeted visitors, which leans to valuable conversion rates and return on investment. Other portals want to promise results and increased traffic, but the conversions are non-existent. Onedollarcountry's creative approach provides a specific targeted market that they can harness.

Using OneDollarCountry.com has the potential to be successful for marketing any business. The concept is simple: each company that would like to have their business in the spotlight can purchase a virtual piece of property, sliced out by countries on the map which appears on the website. Countries can be purchased starting at $1.00. Countries are then available for re-sale at double the price, and the current "ruler" of the country makes a profit.

In other words, in addition to visitors seeing the link to your site when you're the ruler of the country, when that country sells again, you double your investment. Not only do you make money when your country sells, but for the whole time you are the owner or ruler of the country you purchased, you'll have your web footprint seeded into the country for people to view. The benefit of purchasing a country to double the original investment, combined with the advertising that comes through during the time spent owning the country, can become a unique internet marketing powerhouse for any company or small business.

OneDollarCountry.com was launched in May 2013. Paolo and Joel are driven to get backlinks to webmasters in a realistic, reliable, and honest way. Link building can be a difficult concept to apply, and there are many moving parts. The web of links that point to a website can take years to achieve with authority. OneDollarCountry can help reduce that time by providing ads which can be a useful source for link building. The clever design of the site is professional, and doesn't portray a look of desperation.

Paolo and Joel have a solid work ethic and attention to detail, and people who visit their site can feel confident in knowing that there are faces behind the ad spaces that cater to each one of their members. With the right focus and well-placed ads, there's an innovative way to earn money online with OneDollarCountry.com. Learn more by visiting the Facebook page for the project as well.

Monitors AnyWhere Simplifies Digital Signage

I've been in many stores--plus museums, government buildings, etc--which share information with customers/visitors using TV or computer screens. I never really thought about the set-up required to do this until I read about Monitors AnyWhere and the company's simple solution to a situation that is more cumbersome for a lot of businesses than it needs to be.

Turns out that many businesses who are using digital signage are placing a PC or media player (which is basically a PC) behind each screen that they want to use to broadcast their informational and/or ad content. Another large number of businesses are using solutions that use video extenders over Cat5 cables (network cables), which requires the business owners to run a proprietary network infrastructure just for that cause.

If this seems like a lot of hardware and infrastructure to share information digitally/visually with customers, the people at Monitors AnyWhere thought the same thing! So they have developed a method which allows you to use a single PC and your existing network infrastructure to broadcast up to 20 different content channels by utilizing the VGA over LAN technology.

Well, the easiest way to understand it is to watch this animated video from Monitors AnyWhere...

The best part about the product developed by Monitors AnyWhere is that it's a green solution because it saves businesses the environmental impact as well as the expense of running a bunch of PCs to display digital signage; instead, you can run your content with the resources you're already using. Pretty cool!
