SharkyNet Donates Websites to Charitable Groups

Charitable organizations often run on a super-small budget, and they may not have the resources to pay for a professionally designed website. SharkyNet is a European-based company which offers web design, development, and hosting services--and the company gives back to the community through the SharkyNet Charity Program. Through this service, charitable organizations get a professionally made website free of charge!

SharkyNet chooses one area of charitable work per month to receive the donated web services. Groups who provide services in that area can apply to receive the free help. The current call for applications is for animal rescue groups, and there's a very nice example depicting a local dog rescue site based in Indiana.

Having recently expanded its commercial services to the US market, SharkyNet has found a nice way to connect with the community and showcase not only their web design skills but to showcase the work of service groups through well-made websites.
