Meet the Founder of VoIPtoners.com

The founder of VoIPtoners.com is a freelance business owner who started the website http://voiptoners.com because Voiptoners he had tested so many VoIP providers on the market and wanted to share out his findings with all the people that need good and reliable Voip services yet affordable ones.

1. In general, what are some of the benefits in using VoIP in the first place?

People start saving money once they get started with VoIP due to its low monthly commitment compared to a normal fixed line or even a mobile. Some VoIP services provide free services if you purchase their devices one-off, such as Ooma. The VoIP utilizes your internet connection as well since I believe most of the residents or users now will surely have fiber now.

2. How did your own experience as a VoIP customer motivate you to start the site?

My first experience sucked as I had committed to a bad service. It all happened because I wanted to save costs and get the cheaper price while the provider promised on the features and reliability. Back then, there weren't as many reviews and sharing on the internet or forums, very limited information. I ended up losing more money, and it was such a frustrating experience. I thought it would be great if I picked a few providers and tested them along while giving out my experience and encounters due to my own usage and criteria. I have since become an addict and I love to try more of them to review for my site.

3. What are some of the most interesting things you've learned since starting the site?

What I love is that more and more people and users are willing to share their experience and knowledge on the VoIP providers. I believe most are still unfamiliar or not even heard of them but now all the information and knowledge are much more easily accessible. First time users can skip the pain and get what they need. More webmasters are setting up review sites, and we all can learn from different points of view, too.

4. Do you think VoIP has changed over the years, as more people have dropped landline phones for mobile phones?

Of course I do. The first thing that I had noticed is the lowering of prices for residential users. But this hasn't happened for business purposes; the price had increased, in fact, for business VoIP over the years. I believe these facts had to do with the functionality and increase of facilities to cater all the demand. Other than that, the reliability of the VoIP has vastly improved, so now the voice is much more crystal clear and stable, less jittery and delayed. Certainly the voice compression technology has improved over the years. From my observation, mobile users are utilizing VoIP app from their smartphone more than ever because of convenience and stability. I still remember my first time using a VoIP app from my smartphone 5 years back (Viber); back then, you could barely hear what the other person was saying on the line. Luckily, all these bad experience have gone away over time.

5. What else would you like people to know about your website?

I certainly hope users can benefit from what I've encountered personally. Check and read the reviews carefully if they suit your needs. Always cut out if you find that the provider failed to deliver what they promised--that's why a no contract situation is always my priority.

Thanks!

Introducing Bus Simulator Racing on Google Play

Do you like driving simulator games? Here's one that has a unique twist by letting you drive a double-decker bus. Bus Simulator Racing is a new game out from Universal Games. It's a free download for Android.

It has fun graphics, starting with the bus itself. You drive a bright red bus designed to look like a classic British bus. There's also cool scenery that reminds me of the countryside.

The object of the game is to drive bus passengers safely to school, which involves navigating a bridge between the mainland bus station and the island where the school is located. The bridge is narrow and difficult to navigate, so the game tests your skills in regard to timing, as well as your skills navigating the bus as you tilt your device or turn the steering wheel to drive.

You can compete against players from around the world as you collect stars while you drive. The game includes bus engine sound effects as well as background music. Many users have described the scenery of the game as relaxing. Plus, the game is optimized for use on tablets as well as phones.

I've posted before about the free games available from Universal Games. They've created a variety of fun, colorful games that are perfect for when you have time to spare and want to do something relaxing but also challenging enough to make you want to keep playing. You can see a list of all of their games on Google Play.

We like the smell of the leather and the special feeling when your body touches leather products: We love leather.

2. What are some of the ways that customers can have their items customized when they order?

Different people have lots of different requests, so we work to fulfill all manner of customizations through our shopping cart system. We are very successful with our iPad portfolios which include a notepad as well as with our iPad portfolios with room for a bluetooth-keyboard. Both kinds of leather bags offer lot of functionality, protect the gadgets, and are helpful for organizing your work.

4. How did you achieve a successful transition from selling on other sites such as Etsy to having your own site?

Etsy was the first marketplace where we sold our leather goods. A few years later, our focus lies on our own worldwide site www.icarryalls.com, as well as our European site, www.classiquer.com. Of course, we also sell on all Amazon platforms. And we are present on all the social communities like Facebook, Twitter, and so on.

5. For customers shopping around for leather products, what do you recommend in terms of choosing the best quality product while also being mindful of price?

If you shop online, it's difficult to touch and smell the product, so the most important thing is to choose the brand of highest reputation; this is the way to protect your money.

Thanks, Anthony!

Introducing SmartMobilePhones.net, a Source for Phones and Accessories

Personally, I find choosing a mobile phone to be one of the bigger shopping challenges of modern life. How do you know which phone is best for your personal needs? Where can you easily compare the prices and features of different phones? I'm appreciative for sites like Smart Mobile Phones which put all the popular phones and accessories into one easy-to-browse place.

The owners of Smart Mobile Phones created their site to offer a "customer-friendly" experience for people looking for smart phones, specifically iPhones and Android phones. You can contact the site owners if you have questions, comments, etc. This is a newer site, and I get the impression that the owners are going to be responsive to customer feedback as they continue to grow the site, so if you have input, let them know!

The site gives you a lot of good prices on smart phones, and you can compare prices and features to find the deal that works best for you. When it comes to iPhones especially, prices can vary depending on the cell service provider, so it's useful to see the different options brought together on a single page. And with Android phones, different manufacturers have created phones that offer a variety of looks, capabilities, and more. It really does help when a site like this presents your options all together.

Smart Mobile Phones is seamlessly integrated with Amazon to offer easy ordering as well as access to additional information like customer reviews. It's a smooth and simple way to shop for phones and phone accessories!

Meet Kenneth Liao of Trade In Happy

Our interview below is with Kenneth Liao, founder of Trade In Happy, a company which allows you to sell your iPhone or other smartphone for cash. The company prides itself on its reputation as a reputable buyer for used phones, offering top dollar for trade ins.

Kenneth provided the following description of the company: "We, at Trade In Happy Inc., are devoted to providing innovative solutions for electronics recycling and to make our world greener and cleaner. We believe that by making recycling easier and more rewarding for everyone we can involve more people and get more used electronics recycled. We look forward to your participation in making our dreams come true."

1. Why did you decide to start a business to allow people to sell their used phones?

Recycling used phones and other electronics is going to help our environment by saving those old electronics from going to the landfill, and also reduce the demands to manufacture more new devices that will cause pollution for our environment. Recycling some of the high end smart phones can also be financially rewarding. Under the currently depressed job market, an extra $100-$300 cash is a nice supplementary income for everybody.

2. You are based in Ohio and have walk-in service there, but is most of your service via mail-in?

Yes, it is more convenient to just mail it in. The customer can save time and gasoline, and we will give them a free INSURED shipping label. All they need to do is go to our website: www.tradeinhappy.com, follow the on-screen instructions to choose their device and preferred payment method (check or PayPal), we will generate a free INSURED shipping label with their order. After they mail it in through FedEx, we will inspect the device and send out the payment. Instead of coming to our office and spending an hour or so on the road, a lot of our local customers would even like to mail their devices to us.

3. What happens to the phones that are recycled through Trade In Happy?

We believe reselling them to somebody that can use them is the best way to recycle old electronics because it will not only extend the life of the existing devices but also reduce the demands for manufacturing new devices that will consume more resources and energy and cause more environmental pollution.

4. What happens to phones that aren't recycled, and what are the environmental costs of not recycling phones?

A lot of them are dumped into landfills and even shipped overseas to other countries where they are scrapped into components and metals. Most of these devices contain contaminants such as lead, cadmium, beryllium, or brominated flame retardants. Even in developed countries, recycling and disposal of e-waste may involve significant risk to workers and communities, and great care must be taken to avoid unsafe exposure in recycling operations and leaching of material such as heavy metals from landfills and incinerator ashes.

5. Could you share an example or two of the feedback you've been receiving from your customers?

Sure. Here are two recent examples of feedback we received.

Tom from Miami, FL said: "TradeInHappy had the highest payout for my iPhone 5. Shipping and customer service was excellent. I would rate them A+."

Ellen from Philadelphia, PA also wrote us this: "You (TradeInHappy) are hands down the best trade experience I could have ever imagined. You have a customer for life."

Thanks, Kenneth!

Meet Stephen Ebbett of Protect Your Bubble

Stephen Ebbett is President of Protect Your Bubble, a new kind of insurance brand that understands that 21st century lives are busy and complicated and offers an online service that makes insurance simple and uncomplicated. Stephen also leads Protect Your Bubble UK, which combined with US operations, has sold more than one million policies.

Protect Your Bubble offers coverage for mobile gadgets such as smartphones (Android or iPhone), tablets, and cell phones. The company also offers extended warranties for small and large electronics, including televisions, cameras and laptops. Protect Your Bubble also offers affordable pet insurance, an important option for consumers who want to be prepared financially when their pets need veterinary care. Travel insurance and rental car coverage from Protect Your Bubble can help vacationers or those on business trips deal with the unexpected--including damage to a rental car--at rates much lower than are typically offered by rental car or travel agencies. The company also provides identity theft protection services, as well as renters insurance.

Stephen's past experience includes a role as the Head of Channel and Product Development at Assurant Solutions, which is Protect Your Bubble's parent company, as well as a position as Insurance Product Manager at John Lewis Partnership. Prior to that, he served as Channel Marketing Manager of AXA Insurance.

Stephen has more than 10 years of experience spearheading innovative product and communication initiatives for corporations looking to gain a competitive edge when entering a new market. Stephen attended Durham University and holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy and theology, as well as a postgraduate degree in marketing. Outside of his work with Protect Your Bubble, Stephen enjoys rugby, climbing, film, and photography.

1. How did you select the three main areas of coverage (gadgets, pets, and travel) for Protect Your Bubble?

At Protect Your Bubble, our mission is to offer a new kind of insurance to cover the items in customers' homes, the pets that enrich their lives, the technology they use on a daily basis, and much more. It's the things consumers don't always think to insure, but are very important to them.

2. Your starting rates are very affordable--how do you keep costs down for consumers, and what level of protection are consumers getting for relatively small premiums?

When creating the products, the #1 focus was to create great coverage but at an affordable price. In addition, we offer flexible deductibles to ensure that consumers' monthly payments work within their budget. We realize that consumers want comprehensive coverage at a great rate, so we work hard to develop our products around this philosophy.

3. What's the benefit in insuring an item like an appliance or smartphone rather than using a manufacturer or store warranty?

It happens all the time; we drop our phone and crack the screen, we jump in the pool forgetting that our iPhone is in our pocket, and sadly our phone becomes misplaced or even stolen. Unfortunately, the later is becoming more common. In fact, 113 smartphones are lost or stolen every minute in the U.S. Replacing an uninsured smartphone leaves many consumers in sticker shock. Carriers heavily subsidize the price of the latest smartphones, so customers who replace the mobile device outside of the subsidy will end up paying up to three times the original purchase price. This is why many consumers invest in insurance, to avoid forking over the big chunk of cash to replace it.

It's important that consumers make sure they fully understand their coverage options. I urge consumers to consider comprehensive coverage for their mobile device through insurance, rather than a warranty. For instance, some extended warranties cover accidental damage under limited circumstances but leave consumers unprotected in the event of a loss or theft.

When it comes to extended warranties for home gadgets and appliances, consumers should do their research and learn about the additional level of coverage they can get with a third party, like Protect Your Bubble. For example, we provide things like tech support for computers, food replacement for fridges/freezers, and surge protection. Plus, battery replacement and accidental damage coverage are also available during the manufacturer's warranty. Protect Your Bubble pays for all shipping charges to and from its repair facilities. These are all things that can make a big difference when in a bind.

4. What strategies do you recommend for someone who wants to assess his/her (and his/her family's) insurance needs?

Many big-ticket items we buy and plans we make (such as a business trip or vacation) are insurable. The problem is that many people assume they already have coverage or expect that they'll receive replacement items quickly when that's not necessarily the case. That's why I recommend taking stock of your stuff and evaluating available coverage options. Here are some tips when deciding whether or not you should insure your stuff:

Evaluate deductibles and coverage you already have: Know what your homeowner's insurance covers. For example, many homeowners have deductibles that exceed the value of the appliance, so in effect, the appliance or gadget is unprotected. Perhaps you rent your home and think your landlord will take care of damage to the contents you own in case of a mishap that isn't your fault. Chances are, your stuff isn't covered.

Know the true value of your smartphone: The replacement cost of your smartphone is up to three times the price you paid with the carrier's subsidy. If your smartphone or tablet is lost, stolen or damaged and you don't have insurance on it, you may be required to pay upwards of $600+.

Self-insurance can be costly: Some people assume it's better to just pay out-of-pocket to replace lost, stolen, or damaged items rather than insure them. But that depends on many factors. What you need to consider is: Will you have enough cash on hand to replace items you use every day if you need to?

Know your options: Thanks to the internet, there are more insurance options now than ever before, which makes it simple to compare rates and find the right policy. For example, you don't have to take whatever the car rental company is offering. Shop around and then make a decision--you can usually save a lot of money.

5. As an entrepreneur, how is blogging important in connecting with your (new and existing) customers, and what are some of the topics you cover in your posts?

Blogging is important for me because I want to stay connected with customers. It's a great way for me to share tips and become a resource for readers. I encounter a lot of claims data and hear from customers all the time, so it's important for me to share what I learn. Not to mention, I enjoy blogging. Typically, I try to write articles that help consumers plan ahead, avoid gadget hiccups, and not become a victim of theft, plus travel-related topics. I write about what I think can impact consumers' lives and how to protect the little things in life that matter a great deal.

Thanks, Stephen!
