New Video Series Offers Secrets to Selling on Amazon.com

Have you ever thought about starting a business selling on Amazon.com? I've read about a lot of people who--with a bit of research and effort--have had their Amazon businesses take off. There's a new video series from well-known business coaches that offers tips on how to find Amazon success.

With the launch of the Amazing Selling Machine, Matt Clark and Jason Katzenback began offering a step-by-step program that's giving people across the globe financial freedom from selling products on Amazon.com. Now Clark and Katzenback are back with four videos that feature the secrets to building a multi-million dollar business from scratch.

In this new four-part video series, viewers learn how brands like GoPro, Fitbit, and Apple can solidify your financial future, and which Amazon.com categories are proven bestsellers. Plus, you get an up-close and personal look at the real-life stories of people that Matt and Jason have coached, and a peek at the brand-new and completely updated Amazon Selling Machine program.

Personally, it's these real-life stories that make business programs meaningful and relevant to me, and I'm intrigued to learn more. If you've been looking for an easy to follow, step-by-step blueprint to creating a successful business online retailing on Amazon, this new video series is available for a limited time, and here's where you can sign up today.

The information about this program was shared with me by the sellers of go2towel.com. You can also email info@go2products.com for more information.

Meet Catalin of Ecommerce Platforms, an Ecommerce Review Site

Ecommerce Platforms is an unbiased review site that shows the good, great, bad, and ugly of online store building software. They strive to provide readers with easy to read (and sometimes fun) and objective reviews that will help people choose which ecommerce platform is right for their individual needs. They invite readers to follow them on Twitter, comment, question, contact, and ENGAGE!

Check out the Ecommerce Platforms comparison chart to look at the different ecommerce platforms and their features.

1. Why did you decide to launch a website with a focus on reviewing ecommerce platforms?

A friend of mine asked for help finding the best ecommerce platform for his new business venture. However, after numerous days spent Googling the right platform, I realized that the information out there about ecommerce platforms really isn't all that good. This was when I decided to create Ecommerce Platforms, because I wanted other people to be able to find comparisons between the different platforms as well as reviews and tutorials.

2. When it comes to choosing an ecommerce platform, how important of a factor is the size of your business? In other words, do smaller businesses have different needs than medium or large businesses?

Yes, smaller companies might not need some of the features offered by the bigger, more expensive platforms. Therefore, smaller companies might consider signing up with a more niche-driven ecommerce platform. While I would recommend that large businesses sign up with companies such as Shopify or Bigcommerce, I would recommend that smaller companies consider a platform such as Big Cartel as they cater directly to smaller companies. This article covers some of these differences.

3. For you personally, what separates a "good" ecommerce platform from a "great" one?

The first word that comes to mind when I think about a great platform is "templates." Really, the one thing that often sets ecommerce platforms apart is the templates they offer. While some companies offer very basic templates, others go the extra mile to offer amazing templates. Secondly, it is very important to look at what kinds of add-ons the site offers, as many sites will offer certain add-ons and plug-ins for free, while other sites might charge for the same features.

4. What are some other topics you cover on your site?

While we do focus on reviewing the different ecommerce platforms, we also spend a lot of time looking for the best plug-ins for the different store sites. Furthermore, we are spending more time now looking at great WordPress plug-ins that can be used to boost sales. We are also working on more tips and tutorials for those who are just getting started in the ecommerce industry.

5. If you were to meet someone who is just getting started with selling products or services online, what would your advice be?

Don't give up! It will be a long process, but in the end it will be a very rewarding process. Secondly, do your research: in other words, do not jump the gun and sign up for the first and cheapest platform you can find. In the end it will come back to haunt you. Once you have completed your store, make sure you market it, everywhere you can possibly think of.

Thanks, Catalin!

Introducing American Business Brokers

American Business Brokers is a company that connects people who want to buy businesses with people who want to sell their businesses. The company helps sellers prepare and sell their businesses by utilizing the knowledge of experienced business brokers who can help sellers negotiate the best deals for their businesses.

The goal of America Business Brokers is to connect their sellers with qualified buyers. But before a broker connects a seller with any potential buyers, the broker first works with the seller to determine his or her goals and to address any legal, accounting, tax, and other relevant issues to selling the business. As a seller, you can rely on your broker to give you comprehensive explanations about the whole process of selling a business, which is hugely important because many people have run a business for years and years and not had any experience in the process of selling a business.

By working with an experienced broker, a seller gains many benefits, such as having someone screen potential buyers, determine an appropriate selling price, and manage paperwork. This page goes into detail about the specific tasks that a broker can help with when it comes to selling a business.

Introducing RaiseYourPaddlez, a New Auction Site

RaiseYourPaddlez is a new website for live auctions. The video below gives a good explanation of how the site works.

If you have items you wish to sell at auction, you would register as a user of the site, and then upload information about your product. The site has a variety of categories to choose from so that people browsing the listings will find your item, and the interface is easy with fill in the blanks forms to use.

The creators of the site emphasize that their intent is to offer a safe buying and selling experience, without the high selling fees of some other sites. They also pride themselves on offering excellent customer service.

RaiseYourPaddlez was launched just two months ago, so keep an eye on it to see how it grows as an auction-format marketplace for buyers and sellers all over the world.

Introducing EZHOPZ, an Online Shopping Mall

Based in the Netherlands, EZHOPZ is a new online shopping mall which was founded by young entrepreneur John Meyers and his team of developers, partnering with some longtime former business owners who offered advice based on their experience.

EZHOPZ offers online sellers the opportunity to list up to 10 products in a free webshop. The idea is to allow individuals and small businesses to set up shop online without spending a lot of money on web design, marketing, etc. The site is meant to be easy to use, for people who have wanted to sell online without spending hours and hours learning about e-commerce.

Each shop has its own storefront which sellers can personalize, and customers can search by type of product, by shop, or by the country where the shop is located. It's a global marketplace made up of a series of uniquely individual shops.

Here's more information about selling online at EZHOPZ, or get an overview of how the site works by watching the video below.

Introducing Bidkay, An Online Auction Site

As someone who enjoys buying and selling products online, I'm always interested to hear about a new online marketplace. Bidkay is an auction website which allows members to buy and sell new or used merchandise, services, electronics, household items, books, and more.

Bidkay is free to join, and you pay and get paid using the secure services of PayPal. Buyers and sellers also have the option to complete cash transactions in person if they prefer. Bidkay also offers free listings and free upgrades such as a bold title, a free store, and a featured home page. Sellers pay a fee when they make a sale.

The site also has advanced search functions which allow you to search closed auctions or to look for the listings of a particular seller. These sorts of features are great for both buyers and sellers to do the research they need for successful transactions.

I have seen a lot of sellers especially who are looking for alternatives to eBay, and Bidkay is positioning itself to be that very thing. The site has a clean layout, and with the free upgrades, I think sellers will be intrigued! I hope that people will find Bidkay and help it catch on as an easy to use, interactive marketplace.

Below is a video with more information about Bidkay.
